In 2025, drum legend Steve Gadd turned 80, Dan Hemmer turned 60 and Michael Blicher turned 50 – and they’re celebrated in the best way possible: with a brand-new Anniversary Album, a 3 week tour in Japan and 16 fantastic shows in Holland, Italy and Denmark
Known for creating a warm and intimate atmosphere, Blicher Hemmer Gadd’s hard-swinging, bluesy, and soulful music has captivated audiences across the globe. The trio has released 4 albums and played more than 100 shows together in Japan, Germany, Australia, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Thailand, Hong Kong, UK, Sweden, Norway, Luxembourgh, Holland and many more.
Formed after a chance encounter more than 12 years ago, the trio continues their joyful and deeply personal musical journey, thriving despite the 3,000+ miles, 40+ years, and three busy touring schedules that separate them.
After decades of performing in stadiums with legends like Eric Clapton, James Taylor, and Steely Dan, Gadd relishes the opportunity to reconnect with the essence of music-making in an almost acoustic setting.
